Wind, brass and percussion community musicians are invited to join us as part of the ABODA Victoria Summer Conducting School Ensemble! Play along as our conducting participants learn from the podium with Dr Nicholas Williams

Players are needed for
Sunday – Tuesday: 2.30pm – 5.30pm
Thursday – Friday: 2.30pm – 5.30pm
Saturday: 11.00am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4.00pm
Players can register for single or multiple sessions. Repertoire includes concert band pieces from level 0.5 – 4.5
The Summer Conducting School will be held at Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School, 17 Leslie Rd, Essendon. Lowther Hall is a 2-minute walk from Essendon Train Station and ample street parking is available close by.
Enter via Gate C, Leslie Rd, and follow the signs to the Joan M Garde Cultural Centre (see map)

Please arrive with enough time to check-in, register and set up
The Summer Conducting School will abide by all current Victorian Government regulations including QR Code check-in on arrival, appropriate distancing and density, and all participants being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Anyone with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 is not to attend the event.
All community players must sign-up using this form. No walk-ins will be allowed on the day.
All players whose instrument produces ‘breath condensate’ will be required to bring an absorbent cloth
All attendees must bring a mask and use as per current government regulations
